Using a "Memory
Stick" – Introduction
The "Memory Stick" is a new light and small
recording media which, despite the size, can
store more data than a floppy disk.
You can use the "Memory Stick" as an external
recording media that can be attached or removed
as well as exchanging data between the units.
There are two types of "Memory Stick": an
ordinary "Memory Stick" and a "MagicGate
Memory Stick" that are equipped with the
MagicGate copyright protection technology. You
can use both types of "Memory Stick" with your
camcorder.
However, because your camcorder does not
support the MagicGate standards, data recorded
with your camcorder is not subject to
MagicGate* 1) copyright protection.
You can also use the "Memory Stick Duo" and
"Memory Stick PRO" with your camcorder.

Utilisation d'un « Memory
Stick » – Introduction
Le « Memory Stick » est un nouveau support
d'enregistrement compact et léger qui, malgré sa
taille, peut stocker davantage de données qu'une
disquette.
Vous pouvez utiliser le « Memory Stick » comme
support d'enregistrement externe à attacher ou
retirer ainsi que pour échanger des données entre
les unités.
Il existe deux types de « Memory Stick » : un
« Memory Stick » ordinaire et un « MagicGate
Memory Stick », équipé de la technologie de
protection des droits d'auteur MagicGate. Votre
caméscope accepte l'un et l'autre type de
« Memory Stick ».
Néanmoins, comme le caméscope ne prend pas
en charge les normes MagicGate, les données
enregistrées avec l'appareil ne sont pas soumises
à la protection des droits d'auteur MagicGate*
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser avec votre caméscope
un « Memory Stick Duo » ou un « Memory Stick
PRO ».
