11.1 Access protection via password and keyswitch

These machine data are assigned protection level 7 by default during the stan-
dard startup procedure. All these data areas and functions can thus be
accessed and altered in keyswitch position 0.
The protection level defaults may need to be changed by the machine manufac-
turer or end user. Protection levels 0 to 3 can also be entered.
