Lock not working
Key indicators
•
Pressing the REX button should unlock the lock.
•
Presenting an allowed card at the reader should unlock the lock.
•
The associated relay LED should change state (Change from ON to OFF, or OFF to ON)
(Picture shows the Relay 1 LED in the ON State)
Analysis
•
Has the relay been configured correctly in the software?
o
Configure the relay correctly in the software.
•
Has the relay to lock been wired correctly?
o
Wire the relay to lock correctly.
•
Is the Wiegand Door Module defective?
o
Replace Wiegand Door Module.
•
Has the correct kind of lock been used, 12V DC?
o
Replace the lock with the correct kind of lock.
•
Is the lock powered from the ACW2-XN?
o
Is the battery voltage of the battery in the ACW2-XN, too low?
•
Is the lock powered from a separate power supply?
o
Is the power supply that is supplying the lock, switched on?
o
Is the power supply for the lock defective?

Recharge / replace the battery
Switch on the power supply for the lock.
Replace the power supply for the lock.
