Troubleshooting

One Loop frequently overloads

When motors are reset, feeder runs fine for a period of time (from minutes to days) before
stopping. No foreign objects are found.
Problem
Object small and hard to see

Suggested Procedure
Open the Clean-Outs and run the feeder, Small
objects may fall out with feed through Clean-Outs.
Carefully remove the foreign object. Be careful,
springing auger can cause injury.
1. Check for stretched flightings or kinks.
2. Cut out any damaged auger and rejoin the auger
using an auger Connector. If more than 18" (450
mm) of auger is removed, replace the removed
section of auger. Less than 18" of auger does not
have to be replaced. Add no less than 12',
additional un-damaged Auger may need to be
replaced.
Suggested Procedure
Repair or replace damaged section(s) of trough.
Often adding additional hangers and trough wires
will close the trough which has been spread open.
Replace missing or damaged hangers and trough
wires.
Suggested Procedure
Remove caked feed or plug from chutes.
Remove feed build up, feathers, string, etc.
1. Clean red switch if necessary
2. Adjust delay in drop tube switch to reduce fill
system off line.
