During operation

While the motor is operating, ensure that the specified parameters are maintained.
Make sure that:
● The power consumption is in the specified range
● There is no abnormal motor noise
● The motor does not overheat
Note
Observe the maintenance intervals
Service the motor at the prescribed maintenance intervals. (see Chapter "Maintenance and
inspection intervals (Page 90)"

Stoppages

Measures for stationary motors that are ready for operation
● Operate the motor regularly, at least once a month, in the event of longer non-operational
periods.
● For longer non-operational periods carefully read the notes in Chapter "Storage
(Page 45) ".
● When recommissioning after long non-operational periods, perform the checks and
measures listed in Chapter, " Commissioning (Page 73) ".
● Observe Chapter "Switching on and switching off (Page 79)" before switching on to
recommission the system.

NOTICE
Damage due to improper storage
The motor can be damaged if it is not stored properly.
• If the motor is out of service for extended periods of time, apply suitable anti-
corrosion, preservation, and drying measures.
