Call log
If the telephone number has 7 or 8 digits
(seven-digit number or 1 + seven-digit
number), the optional format can be 1 +
home area code + seven-digit number,
seven-digit number, 1+ seven-digit number,
or home area code + seven-digit number.
If the telephone number has 10 or 11
digits (area code + seven-digit number or
1 + area code + seven-digit number), the
optional format can be 1 + area code +
seven-digit number, seven-digit number, 1+
seven-digit number, or area code + seven-
digit number.

Copying an entry to the directory

Use the following steps to copy the name and/or
number of a call log entry to the directory:
1.
Press CID/ when the handset is in idle mode.

If you need to add or remove the area code or a 1
at the beginning of the telephone number, press
# to scroll through the alternate dialing formats.
Otherwise, skip to step 4.

Press
MENU
NUMBER.
If you do not need to change the displayed
number, skip to step 4. If you need to edit the
number, do the following:
Use the dial pad keys to edit the telephone
number.
Press
the right.
/
to dial the displayed
FLASH
to scroll to the desired entry.
/SELECT. The screen shows EDIT
to move the cursor to the left or
