    Quiet mode You can turn on the quiet mode for a period of time. During this period, all tones (except paging tone) and call screening are muted. When you turn on the quiet mode, the answering system turns on automatically. Press and hold when the handset is not in use.

    Access the answering system remotely Dial your telephone number from any touch-tone telephone. When the system plays the announcement, enter the two-digit remote code. The preset code is 19. Enter one of the following remote commands. Command Description Play all messages. Play only new messages.
