Click the File Transfer button to open the File Transfer application and pop-up, as shown below. This feature allows
users to select a location to save a capture file from a Headwall device to a computer hard drive.
Users can select the destination computer folder they want to transfer the data cube into. and choose to delete the data
cube upon transfer or leave the data cube on the device for future use or deletion. At any time, the user can enable deletion
to select and delete the data cubes that are no longer useful. Select the data cube to be transferred, or with the data cubes
unselected all will be moved.The operations are done using the feature functionality identified below that correspond to
the above, numbered figure.
1 Checking this box deletes the data cube from the device after it is transfered to the computer.
2 Check this box for unpacking the data cube once it is transfered
3 Check this box to enable the delete function. Once checked the user can then select a data cube in the
above, device folder, and delete it without transferring the data cube. This is useful to minimize the
amount of data stored on the device.
4 Click the button and navigate within the computer directories to the desired folder for transferring the
data cubes to from the operating device.
Once the check boxes are selected, click the Transfer button to begin the process. The Transferred box shows the amount
of data moved, and the progress bar shows the degree of completion. During the transfer the Transfer button is disabled,
when complete the Transfer button becomes enabled.
The transfer steps are:
(1) Select the desired file(s)
(2) Check the boxes for deletion or unpacking
(3) Identify the destination folder
(4) Click Transfer and wait until the button becomes active.
