Click the Motion Button to open the motion control window in the Image Viewing Area of Hyperspec
III, as shown
above.

The above figure represents the linear drive motion control functionality within Hyperspec
III. The motion controls for
the Pan and Tilt and Rotary Stage units are slightly different and shown in those respective manuals. The slide, at the top
of the control, is used to move a target to a specific location, in this case 160 mm from the zero point. The drive travel
speed is set with the Speed field, which is also shown on the round speed indicator on the right side of the pane. As an
example, the position is set, left click and drag the slide, then release the mouse button. The slide will move at the defined
speed to the released position. Once the Start/Halt button is clicked the movement will be at the defined speed from where
the target is to that selected location. Once at the stop point, the target holds position.

4.2.3 Calibration.

The Calibration button opens the Video Histogram, which is used to calibrate the white and dark references for the sensor.
The Video Histogram is shown below. To calibrate the sensor, use the steps found in the Light Level Calibration section
of this document.
