(5) Verify the Firewall state is Off, as shown above. Close the Control Panel window.

2.2.5 Disable Services.

(1) Click the Windows Start icon and select Control Panel.
(2) On the Control Panel click System and Security, then click Administrative Tools.
(3) In the right side pane click Services, as shown in the following figure.
