3.3.1.1 Settings_ Capture Tab.

The Capture tab is shown in Figure 3-12. The first line, Capture folder, identifies the default location of the capture
folders that contain the data from the scans. The folder location is changed by clicking the ellipsis button and searching
the computer directory for the desired location. It is recommended that the default folder be used for storing the scans. The
capture folder can be combined with another folder by selecting the ellipsis button on the Combine Folder line, and
searching for the desired folder and location. Also, the capture folder can be combined into a sub-folder by designating the
sub-folder name on the third line.
The scan capture process has the ability to add multiple images per frame of capture. The default is one image per frame
capture. To increase this value use the up and down arrows on the Images per frame line.
The captured file will have the default format identified in the Time Format line. It is recommended to accept this default
format. The prefix and suffix addition to the file name can be set by entering the data in the Prefix and Suffix line of the
Capture tab. The Prefix and Suffix notation can be used to further identify the data cube.

Figure 3-13. Settings Window, Waterfall Tab.
The Settings Waterfall tab is used to define how the waterfall image will display during the capture. The first three
controls set the RGB colors, by wavelength, that will show in the waterfall view during capture. The Free Run Waterfall
