This Operator's Manual provides the information
needed to safely operate the XRM1145 or XRM1154
Reach Forklifts.
This manual should be considered a permanent part
of the vehicle and kept in the plastic, protective case
located in the operator's cab.
NOTICE
BEFORE operating the vehicle, read this manual
completely and carefUlly to understand the safe-
ty instructions and the operation of controls and
safety equipment. You must comply with all
DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION notices.
They are for your benefit.
Improper operation of this vehicle can cause
injury or death.
BEFORE starting the engine, do the following:
• Read this Operator's Manual.
• Read all safety decals on the vehicle.
• Clear the area of other persons.
Learn and practice safe use of vehicle controls in
a safe, clear area BEFORE you operate this vehi-
cle on a worksite.
It is your responsibility to observe applicable
laws and regulations and to follow manufactur-
er's instructions on vehicle operation and main-
tenance.

Model/Serial Number Plate
When contacting the manufacturer, please have the
vehicle model and serial numbers available. The
model/serial number plate is located on the left side,
inside the operator's cab.
For easy reference record the model and serial num-
bers in the space provided.
