Maintenance
Check the brake fluid level in the container at
¾
regular intervals.
Renew the brake fluid (DOT 4) every two
¾
years.
Check brake lines and hoses for signs of
¾
damage.
Check the brake pads for wear.
¾

Parking brake

DANGER
Uncontrolled rolling of the machine can cause
severe injuries by crushing or rolling over..
Park the machine only on level ground with suf-
ficient load bearing capacity.
Secure the machine with wheel chocks against
rolling before releasing the brake.
Parking brake with lever
Always apply the parking brake and secure
¾
the machine against rolling away before park-
ing the machine.
Release the parking brake before parking for
¾
a longer period of time or after the end of the
season. Brake pads may otherwise stick to
the drum and make restarting of the machine
more difficult.
Always release the parking brake before
¾
transport travels. The ropes must be relieved
and the wheels must be free to rotate.
Maintenance
Check the function of the parking brake before
¾
hitching up the machine.
Where necessary adjust the cable or the
¾
brake shoes.
