Changing the coulter
The following must be observed when replac-
ing components of the MulchMix, LD and ULD
coulter (coulter tips, guide plates, wings):
Use only original HORSCH wear items.

Use new screws and nuts with each replace-

ment.
Check for correct seating of the four-cornered
¾
shaft coulter screws in the coulter tips and
guide plates:
Observe the sequence when tightening

MulchMix coulter tips together with guide
plates:

Tighten the screw connections for mounting

the wings on the nut. Do not tighten on the
screw head.

Tighten all screw connections with a nutrunner
¾
or torque spanner.
Observe the tightening torque: 160 ± 10 Nm

Goliath tines
The "Goliath" tine is installed in the Tiger XL. The
tines are equipped with 5.5 cm wide coulters.
"Goliath" Tines
Maintenance
The tines are maintenance free.
The bolts on the tool carrier must be checked
for tightness after the initial operating hours and
before the start of the season.
