Operation

Whenever working on the machine pay
attention to the associated safety notes
in the chapter "Safety and prevention
of accidents"!
Commissioning /
Tractor change
During initial commissioning and when chang-
ing the tractor, the machine must be adapted
to the tractor.
WARNING
Dropping / lowering machine parts can cause
severe crush injuries etc.!
Instruct persons to leave the danger zone. Comply
with the accident prevention instructions.
Hitching up and
transport position
DANGER
There is a possibility that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between trac-
tor and machine.
Depending on the design of the machine hitch

it to the two-point swivel joint, the swinging
drawbar or the ball-joint coupling on the tractor.
Tiger 8 AS/MT with swinging drawbar
hitching must only be operated with draw-
bar eye and swinging drawbar Cat.5.
Connect hydraulic lines.

Connect the road lighting equipment plug and
¾
check the function.
Connect the lines for the pneumatic brake.
¾
Lift the machine.
¾
Remove the support and insert it into the
¾
transport safeguard.
Fold side sections in.

Tiger 4: Fold the road lighting equipment to
¾
transport position.
Tiger 8 MT: For transport by road disas-
¾
semble the outer border discs, so that the
maximum permissible transport height can
be maintained.
Insert aluminium clips on the undercarriage
¾
cylinders and, in case of adjustable drawbar
hitching, on the front lift cylinder and lower the
machine on these clips.
Lock or secure the control units.
¾
In case of hitching by swinging drawbar the
hydraulic lines may need to be connected first
to correct the height of the drawbar.
Do not transport the machine in a posi-
tion higher than necessary.
With the Tiger 6 and 8 pay special
attention to the transportation height
when passing under bridges and low
suspended power lines.
DANGER
Traffic accidents or other damage may be
caused by the packers swinging out.
When in transportb position do not switch he
control unit to floating position.

Parking

Park the machine only on a firm and level surface.
DANGER
There is a possibility that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between
tractor and machine.
Park the machine on a firm and level surface.

With Tiger 4: Replug the lighting equipment
¾
to working position.
Unfold the machine.
¾
Unfold the support.
¾
