    PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKLIST BEFORE GETTING STARTED Each unit is tested under operating conditions and is thoroughly inspected before shipment. At the time of shipment, the carrier accepts responsibility for the unit. Upon receiv- ing the unit, carefully inspect the carton for visible damage. If damage exists, have the car- rier note the damage on the freight bill and file a claim with carrier.

    WARNING/ADVERTENCIA/AVERTISSEMENT The dispenser is for indoor use only. This unit is not a toy. Children should not be supervised not to play with appliance. It should not be used by children or infirm persons without supervision. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Do not plug into a wall electrical outlet unless the current shown on the serial number plate agrees with local current available. Follow all local electrical codes when making connections.
  • Page 9 WATER NOTICE/AGUA AVISO/ PRÉAVIS DE L’EAU Provide an adequate potable water supply. Water pipe connections and fixtures directly connected to a potable water supply must be sized, installed, and maintained according to federal, state, and local laws. The water sup- ply line must be at least a 3/8 inches (9.525 mm) pipe with a minimum of 35 PSI (0.241 MPA) line pressure, but not exceeding a maximum of 90 PSI (0.621 MPA).

    1. INSTALLATION UNPACKING A. Cut packing band and remove. B. Lift and remove top portion of carton. C. Remove inner packing. D. Remove package containing installation kit. E. Lift plywood shipping base and remove lower portion of carton. F. Slide a corner of unit (on plywood shipping base) over the edge of counter and remove the shipping screw and washer from unit.

Thread power cord through back access panel to front of unit. S. Connect power cord to power supply box inside unit. Plug in other end to electrical outlet. There will be a five minute delay before refrigeration deck starts (fans will turn on).

    2. OPERATING THE UNIT PRODUCT LOADING/UNLOADING When it is time to change the milk concentrate, the display on the dispenser shows CHANGE PACKAGE. On the bottom right, the red REFILL NOW light displays. A. Cool milk concentrate to below 40°F (4°C). Pull flap back exposing product hose.

    WAVE PUMP INFORMATION A. Ensure that the key is in FLUSH position. B. Press and hold the # button for five seconds. The Service menu displays. C. Toggle up and down (press and #) to locate the desired option (listed below). To select one of the options, press the PUSH button.

    3. CLEANING AND SANITIZING GENERAL INFORMATION Lancer equipment is shipped from the factory cleaned and sanitized in accordance with NSF guidelines. After installation, it is the responsibility of the installer to clean and sanitize the dispenser again. The operator of the equipment must provide continuous maintenance as required by this manual and state and local health department guidelines to ensure proper operation and sanitation requirements are maintained.

    DAILY CLEANING A. Turn keylock to FLUSH position. B. Flush each valve until only clear water is dispensed. C. Remove nozzles. FIGURE 7 FIGURE 8 D. Seperate the elastic cap on nozzles. E. Wash both the cap and nozzle with warm water using a mild detergent. Rinse with warm water and set aside.

    As product is dispensed, ice is depleted, the ice bank control senses that the ice is melting and turns the compressor and condenser fan on. When the ice bank is rebuilt, the ice bank control turns the compressor and condenser fan motor off. The compressor will periodically run to maintain the ice bank even though no drinks were dispensed.

    DOOR BOARD REPLACEMENT A. Follow door removal procedure outlined above. B. Remove five screws located on the back side of the door that secure the liner to the door shell, and lift the front door shell enough to disconnect the door board harness. The door shell can now be removed.

    TOP COVER REMOVAL A. Remove the door. B. Remove the two outer screws on the top face of each door frame. NOTE: There are six screws on the top face of the door frame; however, the middle screw above each door opening is not used to secure the top cover. C.

    6.11 WATER CALIBRATION VALVE REMOVAL A. Remove fan/coil assembly. B. Disconnect waterproof connectors on solenoid and flowmeter. C. Slide the two retainers on the top and bottom of the water calibration valve assembly to the “disengage” position. D. Push the water calibration valve assembly down until the outlet connector tube telescopes into the base of the unit.

    6.14 ELECTRONICS BOARD REMOVAL A. Remove drip tray, splash plate and drain tube. B. Remove thumb screw and hinge pin holding CPU box.
