IBD 4500/4600/LCD 1. INSTALLATION BEFORE gETTINg STARTED Each unit is tested under operating conditions and is thoroughly inspected before shipment. At the time of shipment, the carrier accepts responsibility for the unit. Upon receiving the unit, carefully inspect the carton for visible damage. If damage exists, have the carrier note the damage on the freight bill and file a claim with carrier.
If an icemaker is not installed, sufficient clearance must be provided, to allow for filling the ice compartment with a five gallon bucket (a minimum of 16 inches is recommended). Lancer does not recommend the use of shaved, flake, nugget, or pellet ice in the dispenser. The dispenser will only operate properly with cube ice.
Install the water regulator (Lancer PN 18-0306) included with unit as close as possible to the water carbonator pump inlet. The recommended water pressure value feeding the carbonator is a minimum of 25 PSI 172.37 kPa).
