The title bar contains the standard Microsoft Windows elements such as
the window title and the icons for minimizing, maximizing, or closing the
window.
The menu bar consists of various pull down menus that provide access to
the different functions and launch interactive GUI tools.
The menu bar includes the following pull down menu:
• File
• View
• Utilities
• Trace
• Tools
• Windows
• Help
Each menu and its options are described in the following sections.
File Menu
The File menu includes the following selections:
File > Connect...
File > Save Configuration As...
File > Load Configuration...
File > Export Waveform
File > Exit
Opens the "Connect to Instrument" dialog. See
M8131A Soft Front Panel
Saves configuration as a text file. Not implemented in the current version of
the software.
Loads the previously saved configuration file. Not implemented in the current
version of the software.
Exports the data of each channel in to a text file.
Exits the M8131A application.
