This procedure removes the top two blanking plugs from the inlet manifold for top or
wall entry pipe configurations.Using this procedure as a guide, adjust the steps for
bottom entry configurations as appropriate.
2.1.
Insert the end of the push-fit tool
under the temperature control
knob, inline with the temperature
override button, and lever off the
temperature knob.
2.2.
Unscrew the three cover retaining
screws sufficiently to remove the
cover.
Note! The cover retaining screws are
captive and need not be removed.
2.3.
Lower the cover gently, taking care
not to apply any stress on the
electrical connections.
2.4.
Remove the cover electrical
connection from the PCB by
gripping the sides of the connector
between two fingers and easing
the connector free by moving from
side to side.
Note! Two lugs on the top of the connector
are provided to ensure the correct
orientation.
2.5.
Insert the push-fit release tool
between the flange of the blanking
plug and the collet for each of the
top ports for the inlet manifold, and
lever the plugs outward.
Whilst holding back on the collet,
pull out each appropriate blanking
plug by hand.
