3. Check the operation of the transmitter button using
Telemetry Service Tool or Wave Viewer.
a. Make the infrared connection between the
Telemetry Service Tool or Wave Viewer and
the transmitter.
b. Go to the Transmitter Information Screen Two
on the Telemetry Service Tool or Wave
Viewer.
c. Press the transmitter button on the
transmitter. Observe the Button field on the
Information screen. Press and hold the
transmitter button on the transmitter. After 3
to 5 seconds, the field should toggle to ON .
When the button is released, it should toggle
to OFF . If this does not happen, the
transmitter button is not working.
Do the following if the transmitter is not
working:

Other Problems
Check to see if the Leads Off LEDs are
working. If they are not, open the
transmitter and check the ribbon cable
from the case assembly to the Main PCB.
Correctly connect the cable, if it not
connected properly, or replace the case
assembly if the cable is damaged.
The transmitter button itself is probably
broken and the Case Assembly must be
replaced.
Replace the Main PCB.
