Management IP

Clicking the M
ANAGEMENT
page helps you to manage the IP address for the switch. This page allows configuration
of the following settings:
IP Address Mode — This can be either manual or dynamic. If the manual mode is
selected, then the management interface takes the configured IP address as the
Default IP Address.
IP Address — Configures the management IP address. This is configurable only if
the IP Address Mode is manual.
Subnet Mask — Configures the management IP subnet mask. This is configurable
only if the IP Address Mode is manual.
Default Mgmt Gateway — Configures the default gateway IP address in blade
switches. In TOR switches, gateway IP configuration is not supported; instead the
gateway IP address can be specified using the "ip route" configuration.
You can set the switch to D
D
M
, then it will automatically obtain the IP Address and subset mask from

the DHCP Server. If you set the switch to M
Address and subnet mask to whatever setting are appropriate to your network. The
switch is set to 192.168.100.102 for IP Address and 255.255.255.0 for the Subnet Mask
by default.
