13 Operating the Pruning Shears

If the display indicates 'BATT OK', the electrical connection
between the battery and control unit is in order.
► If the display indicates 'BATT KO': Troubleshooting,

12.2 Testing the Battery

► Press button on battery.
The LEDs glow or flash.
► If the LEDs do not glow or flash: Do not use the battery
and contact your STIHL servicing dealer.
There is a malfunction in the battery.
13 Operating the Pruning Shears

13.1 Holding and Controlling the Pruning Shears

► Hold the pruning shears firmly with one hand on the
control handle - wrap your thumb around the handle.
► Keep your free hand well away from the cutting blade.

13.2 Displaying Information

The following information can be displayed:
– The number of cuts that can be performed before the next
recommended service is due.
– Battery's state of charge
– Number of cuts and operating time in hours and minutes
– Number of cuts with low, medium and high force.
– Cutting blade blockages.
The information shown refers to the last time the counter
was reset.
