4. POWER MODES

4.1 Power ON (See Figure 3)
From OFF – momentarily press the power button until the GE logo appears.
4.2 Power OFF
Press and Release the Power Button:
Select SWITCH OFF from the POWERDOWN OPTIONS window displayed.
Notes:
•
SWITCH OFF can also be achieved by Pressing and holding the power
button until the screen is blank.
•
Use Power OFF to preserve the battery capacity when the instrument is
not in use for extended periods of time.
4.3 Standby Mode
Press and Release Power button:
Select GO TO STANDBY from the POWERDOWN OPTIONS window displayed.
Note: Use Standby mode between the jobs to provide a quick start-up.
4.4 Power up from Standby Mode
When powered up from the standby mode, instrument always opens the last
screen shown before going to standby mode.
