  • Page 5 ELECTRICAL WARNINGS  To prevent electrical shocks or damage to the instrument, do not connect more than 30 V between the terminals, or between the terminals and the ground (earth).  This instrument uses standard AA size batteries. To prevent an explosion or fire, do not short circuit.

    CAUTIONS  To prevent damage to the display, do not use sharp objects on the touch-screen.  Removal of power without appropriately shutting down the DPI611 can lead to loss of date and time; if it happens re-set the date and time upon re-start.

  • Page 8 5. DPI611 P RESSURE ALIBRATOR TART PERATIONS Install the Battery (See Figure 4) 1. Remove the battery cover by unscrewing the Retaining screw (B) and lifting the cover upwards. 2. Remove old batteries and dispose off in accordance with local instructions.

    7. D ASHBOARD AVIGATION The application DASHBOARD allows quick selection of the appropriate function without menus or special keys. The DASHBOARD displays icons representing functional applications of the DPI611, for example, the CALIBRATOR application. Touch the appropriate icon to start the application. When more choices are available than shown on the display, for example, menu lists, swipe a finger up or down, left or right to scroll.
