4.4.3. Replacing the splitting blade

Exercise extreme caution when handling the blade, and wear protective gloves.
1. Pull out locking bar A, as shown in
Figure 22. Lower the splitting blade
to its low position, which releases
shaft C from blade slot B.
2. Shut down
disconnect it from its power source.
3. Open the guard and lift the splitting
blade out of its slot.
4. Install a new splitting blade by
reversing the above steps.
