Starting SMASH-CLP
Log in to TMM with a software that supports SSH. SMASH-CLP application prompt will be displayed
as shown below.

Notes: An error message will appear upon attempt of running SMASH-CLP without valid privileges, which
support the following actions:
• Administrator/OEM proprietary - cd, exit, help, show, version, reset, start, stop, set, load, create, delete.
• Operator - cd, exit, help, show, version, reset, start, stop, set, load.
• Read Only - cd, exit, help, show, version.
Standard CLP Verbs
• "cd" Verb:
It is used to navigate to the particular target address space in the MAP (Manageability Access Point).
Eg: The command "cd /admin1" in the following example will navigate to the admin target.
-> cd /admin1
Command Status: COMMAND COMPLETED

• "show" Verb
It is used to show the information about a particular target/collection or association. It displays the
sub-targets contained within the given target, it's properties, supported operation (verbs) and list of
other targets to which it is associated.
Eg: The below command "show /admin1/system1/sp1/sshsvc1" will display all the information about
SSH Service.
-> show /admin1/system1/sp1/sshsvc1
