10.2.5 Alde heating and hot water system*

Alde hot water heating system
Installation position in the wardrobe
The Compact 3020 HE heater is a hot-water heating system which
heats hot water separately (contents: 8.5 l). It is possible to heat up the
heating system without filling the hot-water heater with fresh water.
Location
In the wardrobe.
Important information
• Please read the separate operating instructions carefully before
initial operation of the heating system.
• Always turn off the main switch for the heating system whene-
ver the vehicle is not in use.
• If there is danger of frost, always drain off the fresh water in the
hot-water heater (see 8.2).
• You must not start the heating if the device has not been filled
with glycol.
• To make the best possible use of the convection principle, the
air must not be prevented from circulating throughout the cara-
van, e.g. behind the back cushions, winter ventilation slots, in
the bed frame and behind the storage cupboards.
• A 12V / 230V connection is required to start the device.
Check the amount of liquid in the expansion tank at
regular intervals. When the heating is off, the liquid
should be approx. 1 cm above the "Min" mark.

Operating device
When in the idle position, the device shows which heating functions
have been activated; the background lighting of the display is off.
After two minutes, the operating device automatically switches from
the set position to the idle position if no button has been pressed or
if the idle position has been set using the arrows.

and maintaining the hot-water heating system, please
refer to the separate operating instructions for "Alde
Compact 3020 HE".
If the caravan is equipped with a TFT control panel, the
basic functions of the hot water heating system can be
controlled using the panel next to the entrance door (see
Chap 7).
