M – Variant
With the spray gun closed the machine must not be in operation for more than 3
minutes as the small amount of water in the circuit gets heated and may cause
pump damages or other troubles.
5.6.3 Setting the operating pressure
Select operating pressure by actuating the turning knob on the overflow safety valve. By
adjusting the operating pressure the spray flow rate is modified.
5.6.4 Spraying of chemicals
By operating the lateral turning handle open control valve within the Duplex spray lance.
Additionally, the low pressure nozzle will be turned on, the operating pressure will be re-
duced and by means of an injector the chemicals are added to the water.
After working with chemicals, increase the working pressure by closing the control valve
in the Duplex spray lance and operate the machine for approximately 1 minute using clear
water to flush out any chemical residues.
5.7

Taking the machine out of operation

Release safety lever on the spray gun. Set ON-OFF switch to „0".
Variant M and MP
Depressurize the machine by operating the safety control lever on the spray gun and secure
lever with the locking device to prevent unintentional opening of the spray gun.
During prolonged periods of non-use of the machine, as well as for repair and maintenance
works, unplug the unit and turn off the water supply.
5.8

Restarting

When restarting the unit make sure the machine, particularly the electric cable, the high
pressure hose and the spray lance system are in perfectly satisfactory condition.
5.9

Operation in winter

If there is a risk of frost, the machine should be installed in a way which prevents the machine
from freezing, particularly during periods of non-operation.
