5.6.3 Starting the machine
Unlock safety control lever of the spray gun.
Operate spray gun safety control lever until the machine is depressurized.
Then release lever.
Set ON/OFF switch to position „1".
The closed spray gun causes an excessive pressure which results in an automatically ma-
chine shutdown.
Opening the spray gun will restart the machine automatically.
5.6.4 Operation of the safety spray lance
Securely hold the safety spray lance with both hands. Avoid opening and releasing
the spray gun in rapid succession.
Direct spray lance towards the object to be cleaned. Operate safety lever. Open spray gun.
The spray pressure will build up and will rapidly reach the operating pressure selected.
The high-pressure hose on the spray lance should be handled carefully to prevent kinking.
5.7

Taking the unit out of operation

Keep the machine running for at least 1 minute with cold water but without theaddition of
chemicals to flush out all chemical residues.
Release safety lever of the spray gun, close spray gun.
Set ON/OFF switch to position „0".
Open spay gun until machine is depressurized. Secure safety lever of the spray gun using
the looking device to prevent any unintentional opening of the spray gun. For longer periods
of non-use and/or maintenance and servicing purposes, unplug the unit and turn off the
water supply.
5.8

Restarting the unit

When restarting the unit, make sure the machine, and particularly the power supply cord, the
high-pressure hose, and the safety spray lance are in perfectly good condition.
5.9

Winter operation

If there is danger of frost, install the machine in a way which prevents the machine from
freezing, particularly during periods of non-operation.
