With TCA machines separate hose from the solenoid valve in the machine and connect suc-
tion hose directly to this hose thus preventing the solenoid valve from being flowed through.
Maximum suction height when using cold water: 1 m
When using hot water the level of the water to be sucked up must be the same as of the
machine or even higher.
Suction hose and high pressure pump must be deaerated by means of pressure water be-
fore switching the machine on.
5.5.3 Suction operation
Stick to the instructions given under „5.5.2 – Suction water supply": The filter basket of the
suction hose must always be below the water level. For a faster deaeration separate high
pressure hose from the machine.
5.5.4 High pressure hose and spray appliance
Tightly screw-fasten the high pressure hose to the high pressure supply of the machine and
the spray gun so that it is sealed against pressure. Tightly fasten the screw fitting of the spray
lance in a way that it is sealed against pressure.
The high pressure hose and spray lance, which are both part of the machine equipment, are
made of high-quality material, adapted to the operating conditions of the machine, and have
been marked in accordance with the regulations.
In case spare parts are needed, only those parts may be used which have been ap-
proved and marked by the manufacturer. High pressure hose and spray lance must
be connected in a way that they are sealed against pressure. The high pressure
hose must not be run over, excessively tugged at or twisted.
5.5.5 Cleaning and preserving agents
Insert chemical suction hose with filter as deeply as possible into the chemical tank. Via
injector you can add up to 10 % of chemicals to the water.
For a lower concentration the chemicals within the chemical tank must be diluted corre-
spondingly.
5.6

Commissioning

5.6.1 Switching the machine on
Set ON-OFF switch to „1". The machine is ready for operation.
5.6.2 Operating the spray lance
Firmly hold the spray lance with both hands. Do not open and close the spray gun
lever in rapid succession.
Unlock safety lever of the spray gun M. Direct spray lance to the surface to be cleaned. Op-
erate spray gun safety lever. The spraying pressure will build up and will quickly reach the
selected working pressure.
