Operating temperatures

The machine can be operated either with cold or hot water at a temperature of maximum
60 °C.

Preparations for commissioning

Compare the specifications on the machine label to the technical data of this operation
manual. Check oil level of the high pressure pump.
5.5.1 Electrical supply
The machine is delivered with a supply cable with mains plug.
Insert plug into a properly earthed socket. The socket must be secured with a 16 A
slow fuse.
We recommend to equip the electrical supply of the unit with a fault current monitor, inter-
rupting the circuit when the leakage current to the ground exceeds 30 mA for a period of 30
ms.
When using an extension cable, this cable must conform to HO7RN-F.quality and
have a grounded lead wire properly connected to the plug-in-connections. The lead
wires of the extension cable must have a minimum cross section of 2,5 mm². The
plug-in-connections must be splash-proof and must not be placed on wet ground.
ATTENTION:
Too long extension cables will cause a voltage drop and thus operating troubles.
5.5.2 Water supply
The machine can either be connected to a compressed water line supplying cold or warm
water (maximum 70 °C) or the cold or warm water can be sucked up from a pressureless
tank.
According to DIN 1988 the machine must not be connected directly to the public drinking-
water system.
A direct connection to the public drinking water system is permisible by means of an outlet
according to DIN 1988, part 4, e.g. by inserting a tank with float valve.
The machine can be connected directly to a compressed water line which is not determined
for the drinking water supply.
Connection to compressed water line.
The machine is to be connected to the water supply using a hose of ½" having an inner
diameter of 13 mm, suitable for the supply pressure.
A minimum supply corresponding to the maximum flow rate of the machine must be ensured.
Flow pressure must be minimum 2 bar. The static pressure must not exceed 10 bar.
Suction water supply
Connect suction hose from the FRANK accessory program to the machine.
