6.7) In this step, you will measure the acoustic room response placing the microphone into the sweet spot
(exact center of the listening area).
1.
You will rst need to select the type
of listening area you want to de ne.
3 options are available, from narrow
to wide listening area: Chair, Sofa and
Auditorium.
2.
Once selected, you will need to place
the microphone into the rst position
which re ects the best positions in
terms of expectations, usually in the
center of the listening area. This position
is critical as it will be used for the Distance
and Level calculations.
You can change the view to have a better
i
understanding on how to place the
microphone.
3.
Once the microphone is placed as
illustrated, you can Start the rst
measurement by pressing on Start
button. The measurement capture gets updated realtime:
