Using the night mode function
The night mode function automatically
reduces the EQ and volume levels, and
turns off the groove, surround and
"X-MAXIMIZER" effects. Also, with this
function, the brightness of the display
and the luminance of LEDs used for the
power illuminator and indicators on the
unit are dimmed. This function is useful,
especially at night.
Press NIGHT MODE repeatedly until
"NIGHT MODE" lights up.
Each time you press the button, the
display cyclically changes as follows:
NIGHT MODE ON  NIGHT MODE
OFF  NIGHT MODE ON...
The default setting is "NIGHT MODE
OFF. "
Note
The night mode function is turned off
automatically when:
you connect the headphones.
 you turn on the "GROOVE, "
"Z-GROOVE" or "X-MAXIMIZER"
function.

Using the flashing effect
(SOUND FLASH)
With the sound flash function, you can
flash the sound output. The sound cuts
off periodically.

Press SOUND FLASH repeatedly until
"FLASH " appears.

Turn OPERATION JOG clockwise or
counterclockwise to adjust the sound
flash speed.
To cancel the sound flash effect
Press SOUND FLASH repeatedly until
"FLASH OFF" appears.
Notes
 If you press DELAY, FLANGER or
ISOLATOR on the unit during "SOUND
FLASH" setting is used, the effect will switch
to "FLASH OFF. "
 The setting of "SOUND FLASH" will
automatically change to "FLASH OFF" when
the system is turned off.
Tip
The POWER ILLUMINATOR (Power
illuminator) will synchronize with the adjusted
sound flash speed.
