Transferring music to a
USB device
In DJ-off mode, this system allows you
to transfer music from a CD-DA disc(s),
MP3 disc(s) and a USB device connected
to the
(USB 1) port.
Transfer modes can be selected from
the "CD to USB" and "USB to USB"
synchronized transfer modes, or the
"CD to USB" and "USB to USB" REC 1
transfer modes.
You can easily transfer all the music on
the disc(s) or USB device (USB 1) using
the synchronized transfer modes, and
using the REC 1 modes, you can transfer
your favourite audio tracks or files to the
USB device that is connected to another
USB port (USB 2) on the system.
The audio format transferred by this
system when transferring an audio
track from a CD-DA disc is MP3 at an
approximate bit rate of 128 kbps (VBR).
The amount of required free space on the
USB device (USB 2) is about 1 MB per
minute.
When transferring an MP3 file from an
MP3 disc or an MP3/WMA/AAC file
from a USB device (USB 1), the required
free space and bit rate are same as those
of original audio file.
