To change the beat pattern
Hold down BEAT PATTERN and
turn OPERATION JOG clockwise or
counterclockwise to select the desired
beat pattern.
To adjust the beat level
Press BEAT LEVEL repeatedly. The
display changes cyclically as follows:
LEVEL MAX  LEVEL 1  LEVEL 2
 LEVEL 3  LEVEL MAX...
To change the beat speed
Hold down BEAT SPEED and turn
OPERATION JOG clockwise or
counterclockwise to select the desired
speed.
To return the beat speed to default
setting (BPM 120)
Hold down BEAT SPEED, and then press
ENTER on CHANNEL A.
Notes
 The tempo input is cancelled if you press any
button other than BPM CONTROL during
tempo input.
 If you input the tempo less than BPM 40,
"Hit Faster" appears in the display. Hit again
with faster tempo.
 If you input the tempo more than BPM 200,
"Hit Slower" appears in the display. Hit again
with slower tempo.
 If the tempo of the beat pattern cannot match
the tempo of the music, change the speed
manually after you input the tempo.
Using the simultaneous
playback function (DJ mode
only)
You can perform simultaneous playback
with a disc and the USB device connected
to the
(USB 2) port, or two USB
devices connected to both
USB 2) ports.
This function can only be used in DJ
mode.
Make sure to turn on the DJ mode before
operations.

Select the functions.
For playbacks with a disc (or discs)
and a USB device
Press CD/DISC on CHANNEL A, and
then press USB 2 on CHANNEL B.
For playbacks with two USB
devices
Press USB 1 on CHANNEL A, and
then press USB 2 on CHANNEL B.

Prepare the playback sources.
For playbacks with a disc (or discs)
and a USB device
Load a disc (or discs) and connect the
USB device to the

Connect the USB devices to the
(USB 1 and USB 2) ports.

Start playback.
Press  on CHANNEL A and B
accordingly.
