Folder and file generation rules
When first transferring music to a USB
device, a "MUSIC" folder is created
directly below the "ROOT. "
Folders and files are generated within this
"MUSIC" folder as follows.

The file name generation rule in Program
Play mode depends on the music source
as follows. A file number is assigned to
the beginning of each file name serially
thereafter.

Up to 64 characters of the name are assigned.

Folder numbers are assigned serially

cannot perform transferring with the REC
1 transfer modes when the "REC1" folder
becomes full.
Notes
 When transferring an MP3/WMA/AAC file
from the USB device, the bit rate is same as
that of original file.
 If you start transferring in shuffle play
mode, repeat play mode or in program play
mode (when no tracks or audio files are
programmed), the selected play mode is
automatically cancelled and the play mode
switches to normal play mode.
 CD text information is not transferred to the
generated MP3 file even when the original
CD-DA track contains CD text information.
 If you cancel the transfer partway, an audio
file is created up to the point when the
transfer was stopped. In such a case, the
generated file may not be played back. Delete
the partially-transferred file.
