Note: You must have stored a picture before being able to view it via the Picture album menu. See
"Picture album" page 64 for more details. If there isn't enough memory to store the new picture,
you must delete other items (name, event or picture) to release enough memory to be able to save
the new picture.
A picture may not be accepted by your mobile phone if it is too large, or if it doesn't have the right
file format. When receiving a picture via e-mail, proceed as follows to obtain optimal results:
• The picture received must have been saved in JPEG, BMP or GIF format.
• The size of the picture file should not exceed 50 KB.
• The optimal size is 128 x 128 pixels, in order to be displayed correctly. We recommend you use
a standard picture editing software to create the size of the picture you want.
• Use a file name, a maximum of 10 characters. You can then add an extension such as «.jpg».
6. Select e-mail header and press OK to access the following option:
• Add to contacts: You can add the sender's e-mail address to your contacts, even when you
haven't yet downloaded his e-mail. Select <new> to create a new name, or select a name in the list
and then to add or change the e-mail address to this name card. this menu item will appear if you
selected the contacts in your phone.
Delete e-mails: Mark the e-mail to be deleted (To unmark the e-mail to be deleted, select this
option again.). A small icon allows you to spot the header(s) of the list corresponding to the
e-mail(s) to be deleted.
Reply to e-mail: Reply e-mail to recipients, the address of the sender is automatically added to the
Addressees list. (See 'send e-mail)
Forward e-mail: You can forward a downloaded e-mail to another recipient. (See send e-mail)
3.3.2 Send mail
The Send mail menu allows you to send e-mails to one or several recipients at a time, including
with an attachment such as a jpeg picture. Once received, your messages can be forwarded and the
attachments visualized with the appropriate software.
You can cancel this operation by pressing and holding the c key. Your mobile will then disconnect
from the server, exit the e-mail menu and go back to idle. Disconnection also occurs each time
you enter the Settings menu while a connection is in progress. In this case, your e-mail is lost.
Add addressee
If you enter a addressee name and add it to your mailing list, you can select this name in the list.
Back to the addressees list, press OK to change the e-mail address or remove it from the list or to add
as many recipients as required.
