7 Multimedia

7.1 Camera

Your mobile phone features a digital camera that allows you to take pictures, store them in your
phone, use them as wall paper or send them to your friends and relatives.
Activate/deactivate the camera: press right side key to activate or press OK key and select
Multimedia 〉Camera when your phone in idle mode. Press CLR to deactivate.
Basic operation:
Zoom in/out: Press the navigation key up (zoom in) or down (zoom out).
Night mode: Press * key to toggle between Night and Normal mode.
Change the Picture resolution: Press # key to switch from VGA to Big picture to wallpaper.
Change the Special effects: press left key or right key to switch among effects (brown, gray etc.).
Access the Settings: press OK key when the camera is active.
Taking pictures: after activating camera, presses Camera key on the right side to take a picture.
Save: Press Camera key of right side after the shot to save it.
Delete: press CLR key right after the shot to delete it.
Access the Shot options: press OK key right after the shot.
Activate/deactivate the self-timer: Press 0 key
Note: within any menu related to the camera, a long press on the CLR key will cancel any current
action and bring you back to idle mode.
7.1.1 Pictures shots
7.1.1.1 Preview mode settings
Press Camera key at the right side to display the camera preview screen. The lens of the camera is
automatically focused. Meanwhile icons for Zoom in/out, Special effect, Camera mode, Taking
pictures, Self timer and Night mode will be displayed on the screen.
All options and key presses described in the present section are applicable only when the camera
mode is active, i.e. when the preview is displayed on the screen.
Picture resolution
In the picture mode, press # Key to switch from VGA (640*480pixels) to Wallpaper
(128*160pixels) to Big pictures (96*64pixels). The Picture resolution you select is displayed in
the bottom of the screen.
Special effect
This feature allows you to select one available mode, please see Settings for detail.
Self-timer
This option allows you to set the Self-timer option On or Off (see next section for details).
Night mode
This option allows you to select between Night mode and Normal mode.
Picture zoom in/out
This option is applied to all resolutions.
In wallpaper mode, press up or down key to zoom in/out (*2)
In VGA, big picture mode, press up or down key to zoom in/out (*2*4)
7.1.1.2 Taking a picture
1 If the self-timer option is Off, and once the camera was activated, press Camera side key to take
a picture.
