The UPS equipment operating environment must meet the weight requirements shown in Table 3-1 and the
size requirements shown in Figure 3-1 to Figure 3-2. Dimensions are in millimetres (inches).

The UPS cabinet uses forced air cooling to regulate internal component temperature. Air inlets are in the front
of the cabinet and outlets are in the top of the cabinet. Allow clearance in front of and in top of the cabinet for
proper air circulation. The clearances required around the UPS cabinet are shown in Table 3-2 and Table 3-3.

The basic environmental requirements for operation of the UPS are:
• Ambient Temperature Range: 0–40°C (32–104°F)
• Recommended Operating Range: 20–25°C (68–77°F)
• Maximum Relative Humidity: 95%, noncondensing
