Gives information about the instrument hardware and software, and allows the user to enter a descriptor for the
instrument. The normal 'Select, Scroll, Enter' editing technique, previously described) is used to edit those fields

Allows the user to enter a descriptor of up to 20 characters, using the text entry techniques
described in Section 5.6. The number of characters visible in the display mode pages
varies according to the number of alarm symbols on display.
