8.3.6 Foreign Device Registration

A 'foreign device' has a different subnet address from the devices on the BACnet/IP network that it wishes to
join. The device must register with a BBMD (BACnet Broadcast Management Device) which then forwards
broadcast messages allowing full participation in the BACnet/IP network.

8.3.7 BACnet Configuration

Section 6.2.5 provides details for configuring BACnet on the instrument.
The BACnet parameters described in Section 8.3 can be configured using the iTools software.
