3.1) Control grip
The control grip has been designed to provide easy and comfortable access to the operating but-
tons both in vertical and horizontal positions (Ref. to fi g. 8, 9).
Refer to Fig. 2 and operate as follows:
Horizontal use - Hold the control grip so as to use SAFETY INTERLOCK (15H) and ACCELERATOR
BUTTON (02H).
Vertical use - Hold the control grip so as to use SAFETY INTERLOCK (15V) and ACCELERATOR BUT-
TON (02V).
To facilitate starting the wrench, the accelerator must be locked in the semi-acceleration position.
To do this follow the operations below in the order given:
1. Move the selector (13) to position

2. Hold the control grip (01) so the
safety interlock (15) is pressed.
3. Press fully and hold the accelerator
button (02).
4. Press the accelerator lock button
(11) and release the accelerator,
which will remain locked in the
semi-acceleration position.
After starting engine (see § 5), operate
the accelerator (02) which, on release,
will bring the the engine to the mini-
mum revs.
To avoid accidental acceleration, the safety interlock must always be pressed before the
accelerator button is operated.
3.2) Assembly / disassembly of sockets
The wrench is preset to receive sockets available on the market having the following features:
– Specifi ed for impact tooling.
– Assemble on to 25.4 mm (1") square shaft with through bore.
Before use, always check to make sure the socket shows no signs of breakage or particular
wear. If the socket does not fi t tightly on the square shaft this could result in a loss of power and
excessive wear of components.
