2.4.1 Single UPS
The UPS5000-A is a high frequency tower-mounted UPS. It uses a unit-level design to handle
power functionality, and provides an embedded maintenance bypass switch to ensure
maintenance with power on.

Port Name
Application Scenario
Supplies power to common loads.
Supplies power to important loads in small- and medium-sized data
centers. It features high availability and strong transient overload
capability.
2 ≤ N+X ≤ 4 (1 ≤ N ≤ 4; 0 ≤ X ≤ 3)
For example, in a 3+1 parallel system, three UPSs are requisite and
one UPS is redundant.
The dual-bus system is suitable for scenarios where high availability
requirements are posed for power supply. The dual-bus system
supplies power to important loads in large- and medium-sized
equipment rooms and data centers. In addition to advantages of
common parallel systems, the dual-bus system also provides
outstanding availability and eliminates bottleneck failures, but the
configuration of the dual-bus system is complex.
A 1+1 parallel system is a typical configuration. You can set the number of requisite UPSs and
redundant ones on the LCD or WebUI.
