The venturi comes from the factory set to the closed position for use with natural gas. It will need to be
adjusted toward the open position for use with propane. To adjust the venturi, the right hand side panel must
be removed; See "Exterior Panel Removal/Installation" on page 33. To the left of the gas supply hose is
a wing nut which can be move to the left or right (Figure 41 or Figure 42). Loosening and moving the wing-
nut to the left opens the venturi and loosening and moving the wing-nut to the right closes the venturi. The
setting will depend on several variables such as which type of gas is being used, the volume of air being
supplied, the length of ueing etc.
NOTE:
Venturi comes from the factory in the CLOSED position for use with Natural Gas and
must not be adjusted.
Air restrictor comes from the factory in the OPEN position and is not to be adjusted.
