1.
Start the ODBC Data Source Administrator.

Select the [System DSN] tab and click the [Add] button.

Select "MySQL ODBC 5.3 Unicode Driver", and click the
[Finish] button.
4.
Set the following items.
• Data Source Name: SAMPLE
• TCP/IP Server: SAMPLESRV
5.
Enter the user name and password, and select a
database to be used.
6.
Click the [Test] button, and check if the connection can
be established normally.
7.
Click the [OK] button on the "MySQL Connector/ODBC
Data Source Configuration" screen.
8.
Click the [OK] button on the "ODBC Data Source
Administrator" screen.
