Follow the instructions in the PCCU32 Help files for specific software steps. Generally the following procedure will need to be
completed.
To set the K-Factor for digital and pulse inputs:
Connect the PC running PCCU32 to the flow computer with either an MMI cable (RS-232), a USB cable or an
Ethernet cable.
Open PCCU.
Skip to Step 11 if AGA-7 application is already instantiated.
Select the Entry button from the toolbar.
Click the Station ID at the top of tree.
Select the Applications tab from the open pane.
Click the Add App button at the bottom of the pane.
Select from the drop down menu AGA-7 Measurement. The application will populate in the tree.
Click Flow Measurement > AGA7 > Setup
Select the Constants tab from the open pane.
Click on the field to the right of K-Factor, enter the value and click Send.
Adjust the K-Factor type, if needed, in the row below the K-Factor field.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Input pulses are multiplied by the K-Factor. Two types of K-Factor exist: Pulse per Volume
or Volume per Pulse, and may be changed in PCCU32. The K-Factor is supplied by the device manufacturer and
may be noted on the body of the device.
Please take into consideration that these inputs may have the debounce enabled or disabled. This feature is
discussed in the PCCU32 Help files and is also turned on or off within PCCU32.
Click Send.

6.15 Calibrating TFIO Module Analog Outputs

The following procedure is for calibrating analog outputs contained on the XFC
calibration screen is entered select the desired A/O to be calibrated. The flow computer enters the Hold Mode and displays the
current values and their register number.
The Current Values section will display the current values continuously by checking the Update box. When different analog
inputs are selected, their assigned register numbers are displayed on the top of the screen. Follow the instructions in the
PCCU32 Help files for specific software steps.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If using a 4-20mA transmitter on the analog input, please refer to Appendix D.
Manufacturer's specifications can be extremely misleading. Often a manufacturer's specification will claim to
operate from 10 to 30Vdc. They are not always clear that this 10-30Vdc must be applied across the 4-20mA
transmitter only, and not across the transmitter/load resistor series combination.
Equipment needed:
— -Calibrated Multi Meter capable of measuring 4-20 mA
To calibrate the Analog Output (AO) on the TFIO module:
Connect the PC running PCCU32 to the flow computer with either an MMI cable (RS-232), a USB cable or an
Ethernet cable.
Open PCCU.
Select the Calibration button from the toolbar.
Connect the Multi Meter to the analog output terminals to be calibrated.
