Electrical installation: three-phase motors

3.7.1

Connect the electrical supply to the motor

Ensure that the electrical installation of the pump conforms with local and national safety
requirements. It must be connected to a suitably fused and protected electrical supply and a
suitable earth (ground) point.
Ensure that the motor is correctly configured for the electrical supply voltage and frequency. If not, the motor
can be damaged.
Note:
The pump will restart automatically when the electrical supply is restored after an interruption. If
automatic pump restart is not desired, use electrical control equipment which must be reset manually.
