Setting the Password
Note: It is very important to choose a password which cannot be easily guessed by others.
1. To set the password, enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm New
Password fields.
This window also displays the Use SonicWALL Global Management System check box.
SonicWALL Global Management System (SonicWALL GMS) is a web browser-based security
management system. SonicWALL GMS allows enterprises and service providers to monitor
and manage hundreds of remote SonicWALLs from a central location. For more information
about SonicWALL GMS, contact SonicWALL Sales at (408) 745-9600.
2. Do not select the Use Global Management System check box unless your SonicWALL
is remotely managed by SonicWALL GMS. Click Next to continue.
