Adjusting the vertical feed amount

Normally this adjustment is not necessary.
In cases such as the following, adjusting the vertical feed amount may be useful for solving problems.
If the feed dog height is set to a high level when sewing heavy-weight materials, the vertical movement of the feed dog
may be insufficient and the material may be fed backwards by mistake.
If the feed dog height is set to a low level when sewing extra light-weight materials, the vertical movement of the feed
dog may be too great and the stitch length may become too short.
