Calling someone

Making calls from a distant telephone via the system*

You can call your PBX system from a distant telephone in order to, for example, make expen-
sive international calls via the system. The charges are then incurred by the system. This is
possible from any telephone with DTMF suffix dialling.

Enter the source discrimination code for your system, e.g. 89. You will hear a dial tone
as confirmation.
If necessary, enter your PIN, e.g. 1234.

number is dialled immediately.
• "Making calls from a distant phone via the system" must be enabled by your system
administrator. Your system administrator will also tell you the source discrimination code
and whether a PIN is required.
• In many cases, you can only telephone through the system from certain pre-set telepho-
nes. Your system administrator will provide with the corresponding information.
